Payment

Q. What type of payment cards can I use in-store?
We accept the following payment methods in our stores: Cash, Credit/Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American express, Carrefour vouchers and Gift Cards).
Q. I have a gift card, how can I use it?
Carrefour gift cards can be used for full or partial payment at any Carrefour hypermarket or Carrefour Market stores in KSA. Any remaining balance will be stored on the card and can be used against future purchases. Carrefour Gift cards have an expiry date of 1 year from the activation date.
Q. I seem to have been charged twice for the same transaction. What should I do?

Q. Can you reserve items for me to collect at a later date?
Sorry, we operate a 'first come first served' policy on all of our stock. To keep things fair, we don't reserve any stock in our stores.
Q. I'd like to purchase a large amount of stock from your store. Is there a limit?
You can shop as many items on our shelves as you wish. Any restriction will be clearly communicated on shelf.
Q. I shop Organic. Where can I get a full list of products that are suitable for my diet?
We have a full list of Organic products updated every month. Please visit your favorite store and consult our customer service
Q. I have a Gluten intolerance. Where can I get a full list of products that are suitable for a Gluten Free diet?

Q. I can't eat milk, or milk by-products. Do you have a list of all products you sell that are free from milk?

Q. I've been disappointed with the quality of a product I've purchased. What should I do?

Q. I've purchased an out of date product from you. What should I do?
We are very sorry you had a bad experience. Please kindly return to the store at your earliest convenience so this issue can be investigated.
Q. I've noticed that the price of a product has risen in price recently. Why is this?
Price increases are often out of our control. We do try to hold these back as long as possible because our aim is to offer our customers the best quality, value for money and service that we can. Our buyers work very hard to negotiate the best prices available and when we do obtain any price reductions we pass them on to our customers immediately.

 

 

Refund Policy - Our promise

Q. Our general return policy
You can return an item upon approval within 7 days of purchase and 3 days only for electronics.
Q. What do I do if an electrical product I've purchased is damaged?
Please visit your nearest store customer service desk for personalized service. We will assist you.
Q. What if I have received a defective product?
Defective items (e.g., items delivered with ripped or missing parts, or other damage) may be returned for a replacement or full credit upon approval. They must be reported within 7 days from the date of purchasing the item. Please e-mail us at [email protected] or reach our customer service on 920000282 as soon as possible. We'll be happy to serve you
Q. Where can I return my item?
Exchange and refund can be made in any Carrefour stores through Saudi Arabia. A product bought via exchange voucher cannot be refunded.

 

 

Warranty

 

Q. what is the condition of Carrefour warranty?
All electronic items are sold with at least 2 YEARS WARRANTY. This warranty will be applied only for product used in normal conditions and will be dealt directly with the official dealer. Warranty will not cover:
  • - Accessories and parts that request to be change periodically.
  • - This warranty will not cover loss of information (Computers…)
  • - Problems those are due to miss-using or wrong utilization of the product (non-respect of the manufacturer's manual of operation).
  • - Installation done by customer or un-authorized third part.
  • - Utilization of accessories not compatible with the material.
  • - Modifications done on the product.
  • - All damages due to condition of use / transportation / storage or due to external causes (lightning, over tension, insects, liquid...).
  • - Abusive commercial or professional utilizations of the product.
  • - Carrefour will not be responsible for any item not collected more than 3 months after the reparation.
  • - Major Home Appliances and all products subject to home deliveries will benefit of on onsite maintenance.
  • - Any faulty product can be dealt with directly with the official distributoron providing Carrefour invoice.
  • - Any faulty product can be dealt with any other Carrefour Store located in Saudi Arabia on providing Carrefour Invoice.

Q. I've lost my Carrefour Gift Card, what shall I do?
Unfortunately, lost cards cannot be re-issued. Please keep your card cautiously.
Q. How do I order a large amount of Carrefour Gift Cards?

Q. What can I buy with a Carrefour Gift Card?
Carrefour gift cards can be used for full or partial payment at any Carrefour hypermarket or Carrefour Market store in Saudi Arabia. Any remaining balance will be stored on the card and can be used against futures purchases.
Q. Do Carrefour Gift Cards have an expiry date?
Carrefour Gift cards have an expiry date of 1 year from the activation date, if purchase from the store. Then, if purchase from Carrefour Head Office, expiry date is 1 year from receiving date.
